Copy music back from your iPhone and iPod Touch with Touch Copy - works with iPhone 3G
After puzzling over an application (or at least the existence of one) that would allow me to copy music back off my iPhone…..I got hold of a trial / demo version of Touch Copy….
To say i was a little skeptical was an understatement.
I installed the software and connected my iPhone 3G (iTunes was not running) and Touch Copy found my iPhone and listed all the tracks within around 15 seconds… and sat there waiting for me to do something!!
I changed the default location for the files to be backed up to and pulled back a few tracks the speed was good, but if you want to backup your entire iPhone library (i have 14.5Gb of music on my iPhone) it looks like if could take a while - which is OK.
I wish there was more to write about… it just works!
There is a version for Windows and Mac OSX which is all good.
